Berries on the Rocks Valentine’s refreshments
Being huddled up inside, under a warm blanket, drinking hot chocolate all day becomes boring after a while, and unfortunately hibernating doesn’t work for me like it does for brown bears – I don’t lose weight, I gain it.
So, despite the cold I decided to gear up and head outside to brave the frigid outside. The ice storm had covered the red berries with cold blankets of ice.

Soon enough the ice cold air was unbearable and I stumbled inside to warm myself up and also my camera equipment.
As I wasn’t done with my photographic energy for the day, I used the beautiful roses my husband gave me for Valentine’s Day and repurposed them to be my photo models. Switching between natural light and flash light I took my time taking pictures of my beauties, giving them different focus and posing them at different angles.
