Experimenting with HDR Photography- my first trial
During my Polo Game and Barn Photography Workshop I learned about HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography.
Thanks to Tony Reynes and Keith French, our excellent instructors, I understood, that for a HDR image I need to take three photos of the same scene.
Each photo is taken at a different exposure to get a bright, medium and dark photo. In post processing I mashed the three photos together to get one single photo that is comprised of the most focused, well-lit and colorful parts of the scene, so that we can see the details inside and outside barn.
I put together this shot of two brothers who posed for us in the barn window. As you see the outside is not overexposed in this HDR shot and the horse can be clearly seen.
