This was a really long summer break 🙂
No, actually these were some whirlwind-like couple of months.
First my daughter graduated and started her first job at Brookfield Zoo.
In August she started her freshman year in Colorado. Then, my husband got a new job and we moved to Colorado, too.
All this happened really fast and we had to search for a new place to stay, prep the house in Chicago to be sold and find a new permanent place in Colorado.
I am still trying to catch my breath 🙂
Winter Time – Time to explore
Winter is a great opportunity to investigate, explore, or to visit a place you always wanted to see. One of those places for me was the Tribune Tower in Chicago.
Back when we still lived in Germany, my friend told me about it and highly recommended that I visit it. Now, that I had time to investigate it, I found it to be one of the most fascinating buildings I have ever seen. There is so much meaning in every single detail.
Out of Chicago Conference
Long Exposure night Scene of the Chicago Skyline
This weekend, I had a blast as I attended for the first time the Out of Chicago Photography Conference. We had great workshops and I was way out of my comfort zone. Here are some examples of the pictures I took.
