I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow. This year is going by very fast. I can hardly fathom that we are already celebrating Thanksgiving.
When I sat down to review the past ten months I was overwhelmed with gratitude for all the things I have experienced, learned and achieved, and especially for the phenomenal people in my life … I have so much to be thankful for.
One of the things I’m very thankful for, is that I finished and published the three projects I have been working on.
I’m so excited! – My short story and my first journal are published, and a big design project is ready.
Near Myth – A Collection of Stories and Poems
My first short story is published. I wrote Wolf’s Legacy for the Anthology Near Myths, a project of my writer’s group, The Writing Journey. 26 authors worked together to publish this anthology ‘full of rewrote, reworked, and refreshed classic archetypal fiction, fables and beyond.’
My story is based on the Siegfried Saga and tells the adventure of a man, who encountered his ‘own dragon’.
I loved to work with these talented and dedicated writers. Every story is different and fun to read.

They Matter …
is a design project I worked on over the summer.
I had the honor of designing the complete book – content, cover, photos – everything. A friend of mine, Dr. Alvenia Rhea Albright wanted to publish a book that features the people who had and have a profound impact on her live.
Dr. Albright wanted to make the people she loves visible and highlight their stories and life lessons. The book is sold as fundraiser for the Rhea of Hope Foundation.

Your Travel Stories
After my daughter’s complaints that there is no journal for her, I decided to design one that she and other travel fanatics would enjoy.
It had to be lightweight and small enough to carry around, and it had to be colorful. The finished product has 110 pages to write, scribble and draw on decorated with colorful and cheerful frames. I added some travel quotes to motivate the travel writer to write.
Of course you can also use it sitting at home on your couch and dreaming about the trips you are going to take 😊.

I’m so happy that they are finally done. This is a huge step for me. I worked for weeks and months on these books.
I’m so thankful for all the help I received. A big THANK YOU goes to my husband, Martin – for all the technical and practical support you provided and all the ways you support me every day. I love you!
Thank you also to my friends and family. You encouraged me, had patience with me and believed in me. Thank you.
And the final THANK YOU and all the glory goes to God who has blessed me with all these gifts and creativity so that I can bless others.
What are you thankful for? Please let me know in the comments.
It is a joy to have such a talented and kind neighbor. I am thankful for you and your family.
Thank you, Ellen for your comment. We enjoy having you and your family as neighbors, too!
