Women Warriors Photo Shoot – A mother-daughter experience

Yeah!

I recently joined a very active local photo group meetup. Anyone interested in photography can join the group and enjoy the many opportunities to improve their skills and share the pictures in a fun group environment. The events are a mixture of hands-on photo shootings in the area and class room instructions.

For my first outing I asked my daughter to be my model. I was thrilled when she agreed to join me and stand model as a warrior.
She dressed up, got her hair done and put make up on to model for the first time. Thanks to the awesome make up and hair artist Katie Long-Piper! Then, I got my camera ready and together we had a blast at Dellwood Park!

May I present you my very own warrior.

Of course, there were other great models, too – here are some more pictures…

I learned a lot during this photo shooting. Directing models, setting the camera for the unfortunately clouded sky, cutting out distracting items like lamp posts, graffiti… etc.

Overall, we had a great time together

Why would you want to kill me again?

A big ‘Thank you’ to the Photo meet-group and the models!
